My Favorite 24hr Eatery in Houston, TX

Updated: Jan 25, 2019

Okay, so we’ve all had some late nights and early mornings at some point. Especially party days or just “let me stay up late tonight since I’m off tomorrow” days. You know, the kind you force yourself to have when you start getting older and can’t hang like you used to. No judgment here! However, those late nights often come with the unfortunate gain to your weight, the hunger pains. If you’re up all night, you’re bound to get hungry right? Well, I am. Don’t judge me! Here’s to my favorite late night 24/7 eatery in Houston, TX, Katz Deli. There are 2 locations, one on the north side and the other on the south side. I’ve visited both and had great experiences every time.

The Reuben $10.99

(Their Famous Dish) Your choice of pastrami, corned beef, turkey pastrami or turkey breast with melted Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Russian dressing. Recommended on grilled rye.

Penne Chicken Pasta Alfredo $12.99

Penne Noodles in a rich and creamy Alfredo sauce, topped with grilled blackened chicken and garlic bread.

The Monte Kristo $9.99

Challah French toast piled high with turkey-ham, muenster cheese, and a fried egg. Raspberry Chipotle on the side for that extra kick

Challah French Toast $9.99

Topped with your choice of fruit, walnuts and creamy soft butter

Spaghetti & Meatballs $12.99

Homemade meatballs on top of fresh imported pasta with rich marinara sauce and imported parmesan cheese

Grilled Pastrami Hero $12.99

Grilled pastrami, sautéed onions, and mushrooms with melted muenster cheese and Russian dressing

When in the Houston streets at 3am, leaving some party that you almost fell asleep 2 times in, be sure to stop by Katz Deli. They are well known for the Reuben but they have tons of other options. Breakfast, sandwiches, pastas, burgers, soups, salads and seafood. You can’t go wrong! Come thank me later 😊
